Multiple social networks to which the user is a subscriber are queried and a unified social graph for the user is returned. Previously unseen linkages between users of disparate social networks can be located using the unified graph for a user. Appropriate security controls to allow connections of the user to control their inclusion in the unified graph can be provided.
