A provisioning system that secures delivery of a client's public key to a KDC (Key Distribution Center). The provisioning system comprises a client, uniquely identifiable by one or more parameters including a user ID (identification); a provisioning server for registering the client; a key distribution center for generating a provisioning key associated with the user ID, the provisioning key being forwarded to the provisioning server; the provisioning server generating configuration parameters for initializing the client, the provisioning key being included in the configuration parameters; and upon initialization, the client provides its public key, authenticated with the provisioning key for forwarding to the key distribution center.
L'invention concerne un système d'approvisionnement qui assure la distribution d'une clé publique d'un client à un CKD (centre de distribution de clé). Le système d'approvisionnement implique : un client, uniquement identifiable par un ou plusieurs paramètres notamment une ID (identification) utilisateur ; un serveur d'approvisionnement pour enregistrer le client ; un centre de distribution de clé pour produire une clé d'approvisionnement associée à l'ID utilisateur, ladite clé d'approvisionnement étant transférée au serveur d'approvisionnement ; le serveur d'approvisionnement produisant des paramètres de configuration produits par le serveur d'approvisionnement pour initialiser le client, la clé d'approvisionnement étant comprise dans les paramètres de configuration ; et après initialisation, le client donne sa clé publique, authentifiée à l'aide de la clé d'approvisionnement pour qu'elle soit transférée au centre de distribution de clés.
