A unit dose dry powder inhaler (10) has a dose unit (36) within an inhaler housing (15). As the dose unit is pushed into the inhaler housing, a container (46) on the dose unit is opened, releasing a pharmaceutical powder (47) into the housing. The user inhales on a mouthpiece (16), drawing the powder and air into a dispersion chamber (22). The powder disperses in air, and the powder/air mixture is inhaled. The inhaler is inexpensive, compact, and simple to use.

L'invention porte sur un inhalateur (10) de poudre sèche comportant une dose unique (36) placée dans un boîtier inhalateur (15).
