The present invention discloses a unit for the dosage of grained, pourable materials. In particular the unit discloses blasting abrasives which can be fed through an abrasive hose to a blast nozzle. The unit comprises at least one closed vessel filled with a stock of grained, pourable materials and an abrasive feeding unit driven by an adjustable drive. The unit also includes a dosage device which is provided with an infeed area positioned beneath the first vessel and has an outfeed area connected to a downpipe. A flow measuring device is also disclosed for the material flow rate in the downpipe which produces measuring signals and an evaluation unit which is linked to the flow measurer and the adjustable drive. After evaluation of the received measuring signals and a comparison of the preset nominal value, the evaluation unit sets the rotation speed of the dosage unit such that a uniform and controllable flow rate of the material is assured. A mixing chamber is linked to the end of the downpipe opposite to the outfeed area of the abrasive feeding unit. The mixing chamber is provided with a chamber tube which is closed on one side by a rear chamber wall through which an adjustable compressed air driving nozzle protrudes beneath the connecting point between the downpipe and the chamber tube into the chamber tube. A diffusor supply insert is arranged at the opposite side where the abrasive hose is connected.
