Disclosed are systems, methods, devices and kits for dispensing laundry additive materials into the drum of an automatic washing machine as that machine is used to carry out a fabric laundering operation. To bring about such dispensing of additives, a lidded housing structure (41) is placed within the drum of an automatic washing machine, an insert (40), containing one or more laundry additives in each compartment, is placed within the lidded housing structure (41), the lid (44) is closed and the machine is run through the several stages of its laundering cycle. Selectively actuatable puncturing element are provided to optionally open at least one compartment of the insert (40) upon closing of the housing structure lid (44), thereby dispensing the contents of that opened compartment into the washing machine drum as wash additive materials and/or to open one or more compartments of the insert (40) later in the laundering cycle to dispense contents of those compartments into the washing machine drum as rinse additive materials. The selectively actuatable puncturing element being activated by centrifugal force arising during the spin cycle of the laundering operation. In a multiple rinse cycle laundering operation, selectively actuatable puncturing element has a track and cam that allows for the dispensing of additives into the desired rinse cycle.
La présente invention concerne des systèmes, des procédés, des dispositifs et des kits de distribution d'additifs de lessive dans le tambour d'une machine à laver automatique lorsque cette machine est utilisée pour effectuer un lavage de tissu. Pour effectuer cette distribution d'additifs, on place une structure (41) de boîtier à couvercle à l'intérieur du tambour d'une machine à laver automatique, on place un insert (40) contenant un ou plusieurs additifs de lessive dans chaque compartiment à l'intérieur de la structure (41) de boîtier à couvercle, ce couvercle (44) est refermé et la machine est mise en route pour plusieurs étapes de son cycle de lavage. Un bouton actionnable sélectivement permet d'ouvrir éventuellement au moins un compartiment de l'insert (40) lors de la fermeture du couvercle de la structure de boîtier (44), distribuant ainsi le contenu de ce compartiment ouvert dans le tambour de la machine à laver sous forme de matériaux additif de lessive et/ou permet d'ouvrir un ou plusieurs compartiments de l'insert (40) plus tard dans le cycle de lavage de façon à distribuer les contenus de ces compartiments dans le tambour de la machine à laver sous forme de matériaux additif de rinçage. Le bouton sélectivement actionnable étant actionné par la force centrifuge imprimée pendant le cycle d'essorage du lavage. Dans un lavage à cycles de rinçage multiples, le bouton actionnable sélectivement possède un tracé et une came qui permettent de distribuer des additifs dans le cycle de rinçage souhaité.
