ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A universal manual grafting device which is suitable for grafting grape-vine or fruit graftlings or any kind of ornamental shrubbery which is characterized in that the spring is mounted onto the end of the moving shaft which is connected to the cam on the stationary part of the grafting device and terminates in a clevis, while the lower part of the spring is fixed in the bore of the stationary part, the upper part of the spring is together with the moving shaft also connected to the vertical arm and the upper part of the arm is enclosed by the clevis, while the top of the clevis has been fixed to the arm via the pin is shaped as a positioning fork, the clevis holds the positioning fork which is led in the groove, whereas the knife is fixed onto the upper end of the stationary part having the shape of an inverted U.
