The invention concerns a universal movable upper tool for a waste-stripping station situated within a machine designed for die-cutting sheet or web-like matter to be converted into packages. The tool comprises a rectangular plate (1) provided with apertures (10). Push-rods (P1) destined to push the waste through the corresponding openings of a perforated plate forming the lower tool of the station are fitted against the lower side of the plate (1) with the help of quick-fitting means (S1) situated on its upper surface. Sponge rubber pressers (E1) are fitted against the lower side of the plate (1) by means of VELCRO strips (7, 8).
