A universal power operator (1) for shifting a movable barrier, such as a gate, and a circuit control system for operation thereof, is shown that allows the operator (1) to be assembled for both left- hinged or right-hinged movable barrier. The universal power operator (1) includes generally an actuator arm (20), a housing assembly (40), a gear assembly (50), and a modular drive motor (10). The housing assembly (40) contains generally symmetrical portions allowing the user to interchangeably assemble the motor (10) in one of two positions for use with a left hinged or right hinged movable barrier.
L'invention se rapporte à un servomoteur universel destiné à déplacer une barrière mobile telle une porte, et à un système de commande de circuit en permettant le fonctionnement, le montage du servomoteur convenant tant à une barrière mobile articulée sur le côté gauche qu'à une barrière mobile articulée sur le côté droit. Le servomoteur universel comprend généralement un bras actionneur, un ensemble logement, un engrenage, et un moteur d'entraînement modulaire. L'ensemble logement comporte des parties généralement symétriques permettant à l'utilisateur de monter le moteur de façon interchangeable dans l'une ou l'autre des deux positions possibles, afin que ce dernier puisse être utilisé avec une barrière mobile articulée soit sur le côté gauche soit sur le côté droit.
