A sliding adapter pack(19) having a plurality of cartridges (14). Each cartridge being slidable relative to a mounting fixture (12) and independent of the other cartridges, for accessing the adapters of the particular cartridge more easily. Each cartridge defining a front opening constructed to receive at least four different types of adapters including a quad LC adapter (44), a duplex LC adapter(46), a duplex SC adapter(48), and a simplex SC adapter(50). Each cartridge further having a snap-fit construction that permits assembly of the cartridge without the use of tools.
