ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A universal support for telephones, in particular portable or mobile telephones includes a cradle and an articulated mount. The width of the cradle is universally adjustable to different brands and models of portable or mobile telephones. The mount includes an articulated shaft having a pair of terminal joints and one or more intermediate joints. This construction permits telephone model or brand interchanging without replacement of parts due to the adjustability of the cradle. The support has increased flexibility to permit installation in restricted access and odd-shaped spaces.
