An unsaturated polyester resin composition which comprises an unsaturated polyester (A) and a polymerizable unsaturated monomer (B) and gives a cured article having a "shrinkage stress during cooling" of 17 MPa or lower and a "(shrinkage stress during cooling)/(elastic limit)" of 1 or lower. The cured article is excellent in gloss retention and yellowing resistance.

L'invention se rapporte à une composition de résine polyester insaturée qui comprend un polyester insaturé (A) et un monomère insaturé polymérisable (B). Cette composition de résine permet d'obtenir un article réticulé possédant une "contrainte due au retrait en cours de refroidissement" inférieure ou égale à 17 MPa et un rapport "(contrainte due au retrait en cours de refroidissement)/(limite d'élasticité)" inférieur ou égal à 1. L'article réticulé obtenu se caractérise par une excellente conservation de son éclat ainsi que par une excellente résistance au jaunissement.
