The styrene functional urea polysiloxanes have improved hydrolytic stability and are useful, either by themselves or in combination with copolymerizable comonomers, in UV- or heat curable biocompatible and oxygen permeable coatings, films or shaped articles, especially in form of oxygen permeable contact lenses.
