An upright vacuum cleaner which improves its stability by lowering the center of gravity includes a main body having a dust bag therein, a suction portion fixed to a bottom of the main body, a grip fixed to a top of the main body, and a hose connected between the dust bag and the suction portion, wherein the grip is fixed to the main body to be rotated by a predetermined angle against the main body, and the main body is fixed to the suction portion to be rotated by a predetermined angle against the suction portion.
