- 1 - Abstract: An urea of the formula: Image wherein X is a chlorine atom or a bromine atom, Y is an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom, R is a C1-C3 alkyl group, an allyl group or a propargyl group and R' is a lower alkyl group. This is an intermediate in the production of 4-(2-fluoro-4-halo-5-substituted phenyl)urazols, which are useful as herbicides.
