ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Compounds of general formula Image (I) wherein A represents a group of the formula:- Image , Image or Image (IIa) (IIb) (IIc) (in which X and Y, which may be the same or different, each represent a hydrogen, chlorine or bromine atom); Z represent a hydrogen or chlorine atom; Z' represents a chlorine or fluorine atom; and Z" represents a hydrogen, chlorine or fluorine atom posses interesting pesticidal activity and in particular insecticidal activity. Compounds of formula I which have been tested have been found to be especially effective in the control of gnats, caterpillars, beetles and beetle larvae. Processes for the preparation of the compounds of formula I and pesticidal compositions comprising the said compounds as active ingredient are described and exemplified. Methods of using the compounds are also disclosed.
