Urea derivatives of formula (1) which comprise piperidine or piperazine ring. Each of A and B is independently hydrogen; alkyl; a 6~membered aromatic or nonaromatic, carbocyclic or heterocyclic moiety; an aminoalkyl or an aminoalkenyl; wherein only one of A and B may be hydrogen or alkyl. RI is H, alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl. Z is N or CHNR2. Each of R3 may be a variety of substituents. Each of R4 may be H or alkyl. Each Ar is a 6-membered or fused aromatic system optionally containing nitrogen atoms; m is 0-3 and n is 0-2. These compounds are effective in ameliorating conditions characterized by unwanted calcium channel activity.

La présente invention a trait à une formule (1) qui comprend un anneau de pipéridine ou de pipérazine. A et B sont indépendamment de l'hydrogène, de l'alkyle, un groupe caractéristique hétérocyclique, carbocyclique, non-aromatique ou aromatique à 6 organes, un aminoalkyle ou un aminoalcényle ; seul A ou B peut être de l'hydrogène ou de l'alkyle. RI est du H, de l'alkyle, de l'alcényle ou de l'alkynyle. Z est du N ou du CHNR2. Chacun des R3 peut être divers substituants. Chacun des R4 peut être du H ou de l'alkyle. Chaque Ar est un système aromatique fusionné ou à 6 organes, contenant en option des atomes d'azote ; m est compris entre 0 et 3 et n est compris entre 0 et 2. Ces composés sont efficaces pour améliorer les conditions caractérisées par une activité indésirable du canal de calcium.
