An epoxy resin composition comprising (A) an epoxy resin containing an oxazolidone ring and (B) 0.01 - 50 ppm of an alkali metal salt and/or of an alkaline earth metal salt and/or of a hydroxide of an alkali metal and/or of an alkaline earth metal based on said epoxy resin, has excellent heat resistance and curing properties and can be used advantageously as civil engineering and building materials, PCM coating materials, laminate materials, sealing materials, casting materials, adhesives and composite materials.

Composition de résine époxy comportant (A) une résine époxy renfermant un cycle oxazolidone et (B) de 0,01 à 50 p.p.m. d'un sel de métal alcalin et/ou sel de métal alcalino-terreux et/ou d'un hydroxyde de métal alcalin et/ou de métal alcalino-terreux à base de ladite résine époxy. Ladite composition présente une résistance thermique et des propriétés de durcissement excellentes, et peut avantageusement s'utiliser comme matériaux de génie civil et de construction, matériaux de revêtement de métaux préenduits, matériaux stratifiés, matériaux d'étanchéité, matériaux de coulée, adhésifs et matériaux composites.
