An elongate flexible hose (26) has a urine-collecting funnel (22) at its top end and its bottom end is in communication with a water-holding bowl (18) that is flushed by a siphoning action. A sanitary cuff (72) lines the rim of the funnel (22) so that the funnel does not contact the body of the user, and the cuff (72) is knocked off the funnel after use by a passive ejector arm (44) when the funnel is suspended between the arms of a hanger member (30).
