An improved urological or gynecological examination- and treatment bench of the kind which comprises a frame having a lowermost portion and an uppermost portion, preferably designed as a pivotal arm and raisable and lowerable carrying a back cushion that is individually adjustable at least to its angular position with respect to the horizontal plane. At least one of the pivotal axis for the angular adjustment of the back cushion or the seat cushion may be released and is arranged in such a manner that is adjustable in dependence of a change of position of the pivotal axis of the other cushion, so that the two cushions are jointly movable under operation of only one of them and while retaining their mutual angular position.

Cette invention concerne une table d'auscultation améliorée pour examens urologiques et gynécologiques. Cette table se compose d'un cadre ayant une partie inférieure et une partie supérieure, lequel cadre est de préférence conçu comme un bras pivotant et peut être levé ou abaissé. Cette table est équipée d'un coussin dorsal (11) réglable individuellement au moins en position angulaire par rapport au plan horizontal, et d'au moins un coussin de siège (12), lequel est, de la même façon, réglable individuellement en position angulaire par rapport au plan horizontal. L'un au moins des axes de pivot, lesquels servent au réglage de l'inclinaison du coussin dorsal (11) ou du coussin de siège (12), peut être relâché. Chaque axe est conçu de manière à pouvoir être réglé en fonction d'un changement de position de l'axe de pivot de l'autre coussin. Ce système permet de déplacer en même temps les deux coussins lorsque l'on n'exerce une action que sur un seul d'entre eux, tout en maintenant leur position angulaire respective.
