There are provided a cationic nanoparticles sol and a papermaking method using the same, more particularly, the cationic nanoparticles sol is used to remove colloids and soluble pollutants in water during the papermaking process, and is retained onto the paper sheets to be removed along with the paper products from water in the papermaking process, wherein the cationic nanoparticles have a specific surface area of above 200m2/g to 5000m2/g, and the mole ratio of aluminum to surface silica can be within the range of from 1:8 to 30:1.
