USE OF 2-ACYLACETANILIDE DERIVATIVES AS FUNGICIDES Abstract of the Disclosure A method of controlling fungus is provided which comprises contacting said fungus with a fungicidally effective amount of a compound having the following structure: Image wherein n is an integer from 1 to 3; R is a halogen atom; and R1 is selected from the group consisting of substituted or unsubstituted, straight or branched alkyl having from about 1 to 6 carbon atoms, substituted or unsubstituted, straight or branched alkoxy having from about 1 to 6 carbon atoms, halo, substituted or unsubstituted sulfamoyl, and substituted or unsubstituted carbamoyl provided that when any R1 is chloro, n is 2 and at least one R1 is meta-chloro.
