The present invention provides novel uses of compounds of general formula (I), wherein R1, R4 and R5 are individually hydrogen, hydroxy, halogen, trifluoromethyl, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or (tertiary amino)(lower alkoxy); and R2 and R3 are individually hydrogen or lower alkyl, or as a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier for the manufacture of a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment or prophylaxis of obesity.
La présente invention concerne de nouvelles utilisations des composés de la formule générale (I), ainsi que de leurs sels acceptables sur le plan pharmaceutique. Dans cette formule, R?1¿, R?4¿ et R?5¿ sont individuellement des atomes d'hydrogène, des groupes hydroxy, des atomes d'halogènes, des groupes trifluorométhyle, alkyle inférieur, alcoxy inférieur ou (tert-amino)(alcoxy inférieur); et R?2¿ et R?3¿ sont individuellement des atomes d'hydrogène ou des groupes alkyle inférieur. Ces composés sont utilisés en combinaison avec un vecteur acceptable sur le plan pharmaceutique pour la préparation d'une composition pharmaceutique destinée au traitement préventif ou curatif de l'obésité.
