The present invention relates to the use of a(1.fwdarw.3)-.beta.-D-glucan as an emulsion stabiliser. The present invention further relates to emulsions comprising a(1.fwdarw.3)-.beta.-D- glucan in an amount of 0.01 to 10 wt.%, based on the total weight of the emulsion. The present invention also relates to bitumen binder compositions comprising a(1.fwdarw.3)-.beta.-D- glucan in an amount of 0.005 to less than 0.1 wt.%, based on the total weight of the bitumen binder composition. The present invention further relates to emulsions comprising a novel biodegradable emulsifying agent, in particular in combination with a(1.fwdarw.3)-.beta.-D-glucan.
La présente invention porte sur l'utilisation d'un (1?3)-ß-D-glucane comme stabilisant d'émulsion. La présente invention porte en outre sur des émulsions comprenant un (1?3)-ß-D-glucane dans une quantité de 0,01 à 10 % en poids, sur la base du poids total de l'émulsion. La présente invention porte également sur des compositions de liant bitumineux comprenant un (1?3)-ß-D-glucane dans une quantité de 0,005 à moins de 0,1 % en poids, sur la base du poids total de la composition de liant bitumineux. La présente invention porte également sur des émulsions comprenant un nouvel agent émulsifiant biodégradable, en particulier en combinaison avec un (1?3)-ß-D-glucane.
