The present invention relates to the use, in the manufacture of an aqueous hydraulic binder formulation, of a combination of at least one comb copolymer having a (meth)acrylic backbone on which side chains ending in a hydrophilic grouping are grafted and at least one comb copolymer having a (meth)acrylic backbone on which side chains ending in a hydrophobic grouping are grafted. The handling of said formulation is eventually improved without causing a segregation phenomenon.
