The invention first relates to the use of a comb polymer having at least one ethylenically unsaturated anionic monomer on which at least one polyalkylene oxide function is grafted, as a compatibility agent in a method for making a chlorinated thermoplastic resin charged with a mineral matter. The invention also relates to the chlorinated thermoplastic materials thus obtained that exhibit an improved compatibility between the charge and the chlorinated thermoplastic resin while reducing the amount of compatibility agents such as the ones used in the charged chlorinated thermoplastic materials of the prior art, the compatibility agents of the prior art essentially consisting of fatty acids and more particularly of stearic acid or salts thereof.
