A retroreflective sheeting has a multitude of retroreflective elements (10) that include a layer of optical elements (1) and a reflective element(s) (2) that is positioned functionally behind the optical elements (1). The retroreflective elements (10) are supported by a polymeric layer (3), and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (4) positioned below the support layer. The adhesive layer (4) contains a polyurethane crosslinked by at least an isocyanate compound. The polyurethane is polymerized from a component containing a polyol having at least one alkyl side chain in a molecule, and the adhesive has (i) a storage module of about 2 x 107 to 8 x 107 dyne per square centimeter when measured in a tensile mode at a frequency of 35 Hz and 25 ~C, and (ii) a softening point of about 80 ~C to less than 200 ~C.
Cette invention concerne un revêtement rétro-réfléchissant comportant une multitude d'éléments rétro-réfléchissants (10), lesquels se composent d'un couche d'éléments optiques (1) et d'un ou plusieurs éléments réfléchissants (2) placés de manière fonctionnelle derrière les éléments optiques (1). Une couche polymère (3) sert de support aux éléments rétro-réfléchissants (10), une couche d'adhésif sensible à la pression (4) étant placée sous la couche de support. La couche d'adhésif (4) contient un polyuréthanne qui a été réticulé par un composé isocyanate au moins. Le polyuréthanne est polymérisé à partir d'un composant qui contient un polyol possédant au moins une chaîne latérale alkyle dans une molécule. Cet adhésif possède (i) un module de stockage variant environ entre 2 x 10?7¿ et 8 x 10?7¿ dynes par centimètre carré, tel que mesuré en mode d'extension à une fréquence de 35 Hz et à une température de 25· C, ainsi que (ii) un point de ramollissement qui va d'environ 80· C à moins de 200· C.
