There is provided the use of an allylic alcohol perfume precursor, preferably an ester, wherein the allylic alcohol perfume is selected from geraniol, nerol and mixtures thereof, for reducing malodours selected from perspiration, smoke, kitchen smells and mixtures thereof. Also provided herein is the use of an allylic alcohol perfume selected from geraniol, nerol and mixtures thereof for reducing malodours selected from smoke, kitchen smells and mixtures thereof.

L'invention concerne l'utilisation d'un précurseur de parfum à base d'alcool allylique, de préférence un ester, ledit parfum étant choisi parmi le géraniol, le nérol et des mélanges de ceux-ci, pour atténuer les mauvaises odeurs dues à la transpiration, le tabac ou la cuisine, ou des mélanges de ces odeurs. Elle concerne également l'utilisation d'un parfum à base d'alcool allylique choisi parmi le géraniol, le nérol et des mélanges de ceux-ci, pour atténuer les mauvaises odeurs dues au tabac ou à la cuisine, ou des mélanges de ces odeurs.
