The invention relates to the putilization, in a method for making a paper sheet and as an agent retarding the penetration of a coating mixture in said sheet, of an aqueous dispersion and/or solution of mineral materials, characterised in that it contains at least one water-soluble copolymer that comprises at least one ethylenically unsaturated anionic monomer and at least one ethylenically unsaturated oxialkyl monomer and ends by a hydrophobic chain. The invention also relates to a method for making a paper sheet using said copolymer, and a to the paper sheet thus obtained.
L'invention consiste en Putilisation, dans un procede de fabrication d'une feuille de papier, comme agent ralentissant Ia penetration d'une sauce de couchage a l'interieur de ladite feuille, d'une dispersion et / ou d'une suspension aqueuse de matieres minerales, caracterisee en ce qu'elle contient au moins un copolymere hydrosoluble constitue d'au moins un monomere anionique a insaturation ethylenique, et d'au moins un monomere oxyalkyle a insaturation ethylenique et termine par une chaine hydrophobe. ElIe consiste aussi dans un procede de fabrication d'une feuille de papier qui met en osuvre ledit copolymere, ainsi qu'en Ia feuille de papier obtenue.
