The invention concerns the use of a compound comprising a polyfunctional polyorganosiloxane (POS) bearing at least a hydroxyl radical and/or at least an alkoxyl radical and at least an activated double ethylene bond, as coupling agent (white filler-elastomer) in rubber compositions based on isoprene elastomer(s) comprising a white filler as reinforcing filler. The invention also concerns isoprene elastomer compositions obtained by using said coupling agent, and elastomeric articles having a body comprising said compositions. The coupling agent is a compound comprising a POS with similar or different units of formula (R?2¿)¿a?Y¿b?X¿c?SiO[4-a(a+b+c)]/2 wherein: (1) R?2¿ is a monovalent hydrocarbon group; (2) Y represents a OH or an alkoxyl; (3) X is a function comprising an activated double ethylene bond selected among a maleimide, isomaleimide, maleamic acid, maleamic ester and acrylamide function; (4) a = 0, 1, 2 or 3, b = 0, 1, 2 or 3, c = 0 or 1, the sum a + b + c is different from 0 and <= 3; (5) function Y rate is >= 0.8 %, (6) function X rate is >= 0.4 % (rate = number of functions for 100 Si atoms).
Le domaine de la présente invention est celui de l'utilisation d'un composé comprenant un polyorganosiloxane (en abrégé POS) polyfonctionnel porteur d'une part d'au moins un radical hydroxyle et/ou d'au moins un radical alkoxyle et d'autre part d'au moins une double liaison éthylénique activée, comme agent de couplage (charge blanche-élastomère) dans les compositions de caoutchouc à base d'élastomère(s) isoprénique(s) comprenant une charge blanche à titre de charge renforçante. L'agent de couplage est un composé qui comprend un POS contenant des motifs semblables ou différents de formule (R2)aYbXcSiO[4- a(a+b+c)]/2 dans laquelle (1i) R2 est un groupe hydrocarboné monovalent ; (2i) Y représente un OH ou un alkoxyle ; (3i) X est une fonction comprenant une double liaison éthylénique activée choisie parmi notamment une fonction maléimide, isomaléimide, acide maléamique, ester maléamique et acrylamide (4) a = 0, 1, 2 ou 3, b = 0, 1, 2 ou 3, c = 0 ou 1, la somme a+b+c est différente de O et 3 ; (5i) le taux de fonction Y est au moins égal ô 0,8 % ; (6i) le taux de fonction X est au moins égal ô 0,4 % (taux = nombre de fonctions pour 100 atomes de Si).
