Amorphous basic aluminium sulphates are used to set and harden hydraulic binders, such as cement, and mortar and concrete produced therefrom, more quickly. The basic aluminium sulphate is characterised by the general formula Al(OH)a (SO4)b in which the indices satisfy the following conditions: b = 0.05 - 0.4 and a = 3 - 2 b.

L'invention concerne l'utilisation de sulfates basiques amorphes d'aluminium permettant d'accélérer la prise et le durcissement de liants hydrauliques comme le ciment, ainsi que du mortier et du béton réalisés avec ledit ciment. Cette invention se caractérise en ce que le sulfate basique d'aluminium a la formule générale suivante: A1(OH)a (SO4)b et que les indices remplissent les conditions suivantes: b = 0,05 - 0,4 et a = 3 - 2 b.
