The present invention relates to the use of a bile acid or bile salt fatty acid conjugate of general formula II W - X - G in which G is a bile acid or bile salt radical, which, if desired, is conjugated in position 24 with a suitable amino acid, W stands for one or two fatty acid radicals having 14-22 carbon atoms and X stands for a suitable bonding member or for a direct C=C bond between said bile acid or bile salt radical and the fatty acid(s) or of a pharmaceutical composition comprising same for the reduction of Cholesterol in blood, for the treatment of Fatty Liver, Hyperglycemia and Diabetes.

L'invention a trait à l'utilisation d'un conjugué d'acide biliaire ou d'acide gras de sel biliaire de formule générale (II) W-X-G, dans laquelle G représente un radical d'acide biliaire ou de sel biliaire qui est conjugué, si nécessaire, en position 24 avec un acide aminé approprié. W représente un ou deux radical/aux d'acide gras comportant de 14 à 22 atomes de carbone. X représente un élément de liaison approprié ou une liaison C=C directe entre ledit radical d'acide biliaire ou de sel biliaire et le/les acide(s) gras. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation d'une composition pharmaceutique contenant lesdits conjugués, cette composition étant destinée à réduire le cholestérol dans le sang, dans le traitement de la stéatose hépatique, de l'hyperglycémie et du diabète.
