The present invention relates to a method for identification of tmor biomarkers markers for breast cancer, with high specificity and sensitivity. Preferred methods of the invention include qualifying breast cancer status in a subject comprising: (a) measuring at least one of the disclosed biomarkers in a sample from the subject; and (b) correlating the measurement with breast cancer status. The invention further relates to kits for qualifying breast cancer status in a subject.
