Antimicrobial system which comprises a cationic surfactant, derived from the condensation of fatty acids and esterified dibasic amino acids, according to the following formula (I), where: X is Br, CI, or HSO4 R1: is linear alkyl chain from an saturated fatty acid, or hydroxyacid from 8 to 14 atoms of carbon bonded to the .alpha.-amino acid group through amidic bond. R2 is a linear or branched alkyl chain from 1 to 18 carbon atoms or aromatic. R3: is Formula (II), where n can be from 0 to 4, and at least one antimicrobial agent characterised for its enhanced activity.

L'invention concerne un système antimicrobien contenant un tensioactif cationique dérivé de la condensation d'acides gras et d'aminoacides dibasiques estérifés et présentant la formule (I) dans laquelle : X?-¿ représente Br?-¿, Cl?-¿ ou HSO¿4??-¿ ; R¿1? représente une chaîne alkyle linéaire d'un acide gras saturé, ou un hydroxyacide constitué de 8 à 14 atomes de carbone liés au groupe d'.alpha.-aminoacides par une liaison amidique ; R¿2? représente une chaîne alkyle linéaire ou ramifiée comprenant 1 à 18 atomes de carbone ou un groupe aromatique ; R¿3? représente la formule (II) dans laquelle n est compris entre 0 et 4. Ledit système antimicrobien comprend en outre au moins un agent antimicrobien caractérisé par son activité accrue.
