Compositions and methods for the prevention and treatment of neoplastic diseases and hypercholesterolemia are described. Individuals at a high risk of developing or having neoplasia or hypercholesterolemia undergoing conventional therapies may be treated with an effective dose of triterpene derivatives in citrus limonoids, polyphenolic flavonoid citrus compounds, tocotrienols or a combination of these agents.

L'invention concerne des compositions et des procédés pour la prévention et le traitement d'affections néoplasiques et d'hypercholestérolémie. Des individus à haut risque de développement de néoplasie et d'hypercholestérolémie ou présentant ces affections et ayant été soumis à des traitements conventionnels, peuvent être traités avec une dose efficace de dérivés de triterpène dans des limonoïdes d'agrumes, des composés d'agrumes flavonoïdes polyphénoliques, des tocotriénols ou une combinaison de ces agents.
