Le traitement selon cette méthode accélère et améliore, chez l'animal et chez l'homme, la réparation des défauts du tissu osseux ou cartilagineux d'origine traumatique ou chirurgicale, et notamment l'acceptation et la fixation des implants artificiels. Ce traitement peut être soit thérapeutique chez les malades, soit préventif chez les sujets sains, soit gériatrique chez les personnes âgées.
