A process for reducing blood pressure is disclosed. The process includes the step of administering to a patient one or more adenylated dinucleotides. Particular examples of adenylated dinucleotides that may be used in the process of the present invention include diadenosine triphosphate, diadenosine tetraphosphate, diadenosine pentaphosphate, and diadenosine hexaphosphate. By reducing blood pressure, the composition of the present invention can be used to treat a patient during hypertensive emergencies, can be used to reduce bleeding, and can be used to treat acute congestive heart failure.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de réduction de la pression sanguine. Ledit procédé consiste à administrer un ou plusieurs dinucléotides adénylés à un patient. Des exemples particuliers de dinucléotides adénylés pouvant être utilisés dans ledit procédé sont le diadénosine triphosphate, le diadénosine tétraphosphate, le diadénosine pentaphosphate et le diadénosine hexaphosphate. La composition de la présente invention réduisant la pression sanguine, elle peut être utilisée pour traiter un patient dans les urgences hypertensives, pour réduire les hémorragies et pour traiter les insuffisances cardiaques globales aiguës.
