It discloses the use of "soluble DPPIV/Seprase protein complex" (= DPPIV/Seprase) as a universal marker of different cancer types. Measurement of DPPIV/Seprase can, e.g., be used in the early detection or diagnosis of cancer or in the surveillance of patients who undergo surgery.
