The invention relates to the use of one or several synthetic or natural furan alkyls for preparing a drug preventing and/or treating obesity or overweight. The use of one or several synthetic or natural furan alkyls for cosmetically treating local excessive weight is also disclosed. Said furan alkyls preferably correspond to formula (I), wherein identical or different R¿1?, R¿2?, R¿3?et R¿4 ?are independently of each other a hydrogen atom, a C¿1?-C¿35?alkyl¿ ?radical, C¿1?-C¿35? alcenyl radical or a C¿1?-C¿35? alcynyl radical, preferably C¿10?-C¿22?, wherein said alkyl, alcenyl and alcynyl radicals are substitutable and R¿1?, R¿2?, R¿3 ?are preferably a hydrogen atom.
La présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'un ou plusieurs alkyles furannes, synthétiques ou naturels, pour la préparation d'un médicament destiné à la prévention et/ou au traitement de l'obésité ou du surpoids. La présente invention concerne également l'utilisation d'un ou plusieurs alkyles furannes, synthétiques ou naturels, dans le traitement cosmétique de la surcharge pondérale localisée. Les alkyles furannes répondent avantageusement à la formule générale suivante : Formule (I) dans laquelle R1,R2, R3 et R4, identiques ou différents, représentent, indépendamment l'un de l'autre, un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alkyle en C1-C35, un radical alcényle en C1-C35, ou un radical alcynyle en C1-C35, avantageusement en C10-C22, lesdits radicaux alkyles, alcényles et alcynyles pouvant être substitués. R1, R2, R3 représentent avantageusement un atome d'hydrogène.
