There is provided an inoculant composition for sucrose-rich crops improving production with reduced use of nitogen fertilizer, which comprises Gluconacetobacter in suspension in a suitable culture medium, wherein the Gluconacetobacter being in an amount suitable for inoculation of the crops. There is also provided, a method for improving production of sucrose-rich crops with reduced use of nitrogen fertilizer, which comprises inoculating the sucrose-rich crop with the Gluconacetobacter inoculant composition.
Linvention concerne une composition dinoculant pour des cultures riches en saccharose, destinée à améliorer la production tout en réduisant l'utilisation dengrais azoté, ladite composition contenant un Gluconacetobacter en suspension dans un milieu de culture approprié et ledit Gluconacetobacter étant en quantité suffisante pour l'ensemencement des cultures. Linvention porte également sur un procédé permettant daméliorer la production de cultures riches en saccharose tout en réduisant l'utilisation dengrais azoté, ledit procédé consistant à ensemencer une culture riche en saccharose avec la composition dinoculant contenant le Gluconacetobacter.
