Laundry treatment products comprise a graft polymer benefit agent and at least one additional laundry cleaning ingredient. The graft polymer benefit agent preferably provides soil release or fabric care benefits. The graft polymer benefit agent comprises a polysaccharide backbone and a plurality of graft chains extending from the backbone, each graft chain having a degree of polymerisation between 5 and 250. The graft polymer is substantially free of cross-linking and has a degree of substitution of grafts across a bulk sample in the range of from 0.02 to 1Ø The graft polysaccharide copolymers may be prepared using living-type free radical polymerisation techniques which provide control over the degree of substitution, the graft/co-block composition and structure.
L'invention concerne des produits de traitement du linge qui comportent un agent bénéfique polymère greffé et au moins une substance nettoyante supplémentaire, ledit agent, de préférence, facilitant avantageusement le lavage ou l'entretien de textiles. Il comprend un squelette polysaccharide et plusieurs chaînes greffées s'étendant du squelette, chaque chaîne greffée ayant un degré de polymérisation situé entre 5 et 250. Le polymère greffé est sensiblement libre de réticulation et présente un degré de substitution de greffes au niveau de l'échantillon global se situant dans la gamme de 0,02 à 1,0. On peut préparer les copolymères de polysaccharide greffés par des techniques de polymérisation à radicaux libres du type vivante qui permettent de réguler le degré de substitution, la composition greffe/co-bloc et la structure.
