This invention involves the use of pyrrolidone lysine carboxylate and pyrrolidon arginine carboxylate as an antioxidant substance in a cosmetic formulation and antioxidant system comprised of pyrrolidon lysine carboxylate and pyrrolidon arginine carboxylate associated with at least one phenol derivative; it also involves its use in any formulation containing fats. The invention also concerns a cosmetic or pharmaceutical formulation characterized by the fact that it contains the following mixture as an antioxidant substance: 0.1 to 20 % arginine and/or lysine pidolate, and 0.05 to 5 % of a phenol derivative or derivatives, with proportions expressed as a weight percent relative to the total weight of the formulation.
L'invention vise une utilisation du pyrrolidone carboxylate de lysine et du pyrrolidone carboxylate d'arginine comme substance antioxydante dans une composition cosmétique et système antioxydant constitué par du pyrrolidone carboxylate de lysine ou du pyrrolidone carboxylate d'arginine associé à au moins un dérivé phénolique. Utilisation dans toutes compositions contenant des corps gras. L'invention vise aussi une composition cosmétique ou pharmaceutique caractérisée par le fait qu'elle contient en tant que substance antioxydante l'association suivante: pidolate d'arginine et/ou de lysine 0,1 à 20%; dérivé(s) phénolique(s) 0,005 à 5%; les pourcentages étant exprimés en poids par rapport au poids total de la composition.
