There is now described a method of controlling pests with nitroimino- or nitroguanidino-compounds; more specifically a method of controlling pests in and on transgenic crops of useful plants, such as, for example, in crops of maize, cereals, soya beans, tomatoes, cotton, potatoes, rice and mustard, with a nitroimino- or nitroguanidino-compound, especially with thiamethoxam, characterized in that a pestical composition comprising a nitroimino- or nitroguanidino- compound in free form or in agrochemically useful salt form and at least one auxiliary is applied to the pests or their environment, in particular to the crop plant itself.

L'invention concerne un procédé de lutte antiparasitaire à l'aide de composés nitroimino ou nitroguanidino. Elle porte plus spécifiquement sur un procédé de lutte antiparasitaire dans et sur les cultures transgéniques de plantes utiles, comme par exemple, les cultures de maïs, de céréales, de germes de soja, de tomates, de coton, de pommes de terre, de riz et de moutarde, à l'aide d'un composé nitroimino ou nitroguanidino, en particulier du thiaméthoxame. Ledit procédé se caractérise en qu'il consiste à appliquer une composition pesticide comprenant un composé nitroimino ou nitroguanidino se présentant sous forme libre ou sous forme de sel utile en agrochimie, et au moins un auxiliaire, sur les parasites ou leur environnement, en particulier sur la plante cultivée elle-même.
