The present invention relates to the use of an organic glucosamine salt selected from glucosamine glucuronate, glucosamine ascorbate, glucosamine malate, glucosamine hydrogen malate, glucosamine citrate, glucosamine hydrogen citrate, and glucosamine dihydrogen citrate for the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of arthrosis and inflammation and pain associated with arthrosis. L'invention concerne l'utilisation d'un sel organique de glucosamine sélectionné parmi: du glucuronate de glucosamine, de l'ascorbate de glucosamine, du malate de glucosamine, du malate d'hydrogène de glucosamine, du citrate de glucosamine, du citrate d'hydrogène de glucosamine et du citrate d'hydrogène de glucosamine, pour la préparation d'un médicament destiné au traitement de l'arthrose et d'inflammations, ainsi que de douleurs associées à l'arthrose.
