The invention relates to the use of a highly penis-specific PDE V inhibitor, or a physiologically acceptable salt or solvate thereof, for the production of a medicament for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in males, without the previous circulatory side effects caused by PDE V inhibitors, in particular, with concomitant administration of vasodilators, whose mode of action is by means of the NO/cGMP system.

L'invention concerne l'utilisation d'un inhibiteur de PDE V très spécifique au pénis, ou d'un sel et/ou d'un solvate physiologiquement acceptables de cet inhibiteur, dans la fabrication d'un agent pharmaceutique destiné au traitement d'un dysfonctionnement érectile chez l'homme. L'utilisation dudit inhibiteur ne présente pas les effets secondaires sur la circulation habituellement causés par des inhibiteurs de PDE V, en particulier en cas d'administration simultanée de vasodilatateurs agissants au travers du système NO-cGMP.
