Polymeric material is deposited onto hard surfaces to reduce the level of surface heterogeneous nucleation of scale forming calcium salt. Scale is nucleated in the bulk solution, resulting in calcium salts which are easier to remove.

Selon l'invention, une matière polymère est déposée sur des surfaces dures de manière à réduire le niveau de nucléation hétérogène d'une surface par formation de sel de calcium. Le tarte est nucléé dans la solution principale, résultant en des sels de calcium plus aisés à éliminer.
