Pharmaceutical compositions are provided for preventing and/or treating broodiness in birds, particularly turkeys, and comprise, as the active ingredient, either a hybrid molecule consisting of a carrier group and a protein including at least one prolactin epitope, or a microorganism expressing said hybrid molecule on its surface or excreting it, or else antibodies to at least one antigenic prolactin site. Methods for preparing said pharmaceutical compositions are also provided.

La présente invention a pour objet des compositions pharmaceutiques destinées à prévenir et/ou traiter l'expression du comportement de couvaison chez les oiseaux et plus particulièrement chez la dinde, caractérisées en ce qu'elles comportent à titre d'agent actif, soit une molécule hybride constituée d'un groupe porteur et d'une pro?ine comprenant au moins un déterminant antigénique de la prolactine, soit un micro-organisme exprimant à sa surface ou excrétant ladite molécule hybride, soit des anticorps dirigés contre au moins un site antigénique de la prolactine. L'invention concerne aussi les procédés de préparation de ces compositions pharmaceutiques.
