Mo3828 LeA 28792 THE USE OF REACTION MIXTURES AS ENCAPSULATING COMPOUNDS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to encapsulating compounds comprising flowable reaction mixtures consisting essentially of A) a polyol component consisting of A1) at least one linear or slightly branched polyester polyol having an OH value of 40 to 500 mg KOH/g; A2) 0 to 50% by weight, based on Al), of at least one polyether polyol having an OH value of 40 to 500 mg KOH/g; and A3) 0 to 5% by weight, based on the weight of component A1), of at least one low molecular weight polyhydric alcohol having an OH value above 500 mg KOH/g; B) a polyisocyanate component consisting of a polyisocyanate mixture of the diphenyl methane series, which is liquid at room temperature and has an NCO content of 10 to 33% by weight, in such a quantity that, for every hydroxyl group of component A), there are 3 to 20 NCO groups of component B); C) catalysts for the trimerization of isocyanurate groups; and, optionally, D) other auxiliaries and additives.
