Use of silicone masses to prevent the formation of ice on substrates Abstract of the Disclosure A method of minimizing the adherence of ice on substrates which comprises coating said substrates with a polysiloxane composition which changes into a rubbery elastic material in the presence of water or atmospheric moisture which comprises .alpha.,.omega.-dihydroxy-polydiorgano- siloxane having a viscosity of about 500 to 2,000,000 centipoise at 20°C and a cross-linking agent with or without a hardening catalyst.
