The invention relates to the use of an enantiomer mixture which is enriched in the enantiomer (1S, 2R) of Milnacipran and/or at least one of the metabolites thereof, as well as the pharmaceutically-acceptable salts of same, for the preparation of a medicament which is intended to prevent or treat pathologies that can be cured through the dual inhibition of the recapture of serotonin (5-HT) and noradrenaline (NA), while limiting the risks of cardiovascular disorders and/or tissue and/or organic toxicity.
