Aqueous compositions, test kits and methods can be used to detect hydrogen peroxide or vanadium bromoperoxidase by generating a chemiluminescent signal in the presence of the analyte. Signal generation as well as reaction kinetics are improved by using a composition which comprises a 2,3-dihydro-1,4- phthalazinedione derivative; a halogen, pseudohalogen, halogen-providing or pseudohalogen-providing source; and a peroxide or peroxide-generating reagent composition.

La présente invention concerne des compositions aqueuses, des kits d'essai et des procédés pouvant être utilisés pour la détection de peroxyde d'hydrogène ou de bromoperoxydase de vanadium par génération d'un signal de chimioluminescence en présence de l'analyte. On obtient une meilleure génération du signal ainsi qu'une meilleure cinétique de réaction en utilisant une composition qui comprend un dérivé de 2,3-dihydro-1,4-phtalazinedione; un halogène, un pseudohalogène, une source apportant un halogène ou une source apportant un pseudohalogène; et un peroxyde ou une composition réactive générant un peroxyde.
